3. Taking Your Measurements

Having your measurements on hand is a great way to ensure a perfect fit. Here's how to take some key measurements:

Dresses:

  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust.
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waistline (typically above your belly  button.

  • Hips: Measure around the fullest part of your hips

  • Length: Measure from your shoulder (where the seam meets your arm) to your desired hemline (dress length).
    Shoes:
  • Foot length: Trace your foot on a piece of paper and measure the distance from heel to longest toe.
  • Ball width: Measure the widest part of the ball of your foot.

Tips:

  • Take measurements while wearing minimal clothing.
  • Use a soft measuring tape for accurate results.
  • If you fall between sizes, consider the style and fabric of the garment. Opt for a size up for looser styles or fabrics with minimal stretch, and vice versa.
